- Hamlin Fistula Ethiopia’s clinical team performed 783 life-changing fistula repair surgeries at Hamlin’s six fistula hospitals in Addis Ababa, Mekele, Yirgalem, Metu, Harar and Bahir Dar. The fistula closure rate was 94%.
- At Desta Mender rehabilitation and reintegration center, 349 women gained essential numeracy and literacy skills and
51 former fistula patients completed the Women's Empowerment Program. - Hamlin Midwives safely delivered over 3,400 babies per month and prevented countless childbirth injuries.

Desta Mender is Hamlin's Rehabilitation and Reintegration Center where where longer-term fistula patients with more severe injuries can continue to heal.
